The County Government of Machakos convened a consultative investor after-care meeting with the leadership of Town Softcare Kenya Company Limited in Athi River, reaffirming its commitment to supporting existing investors while attracting new ones into the county.
In its continued drive to position Machakos as a preferred investment destination, the County Government—under the leadership of H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti—is strategically leveraging both local and international industrial partnerships to spur economic growth and create sustainable employment opportunities.
The meeting, convened by the CECM for Trade, Industry, Tourism, Innovation, Gender and Social Welfare, Sharon N. Muasya, focused on enhancing the ease of doing business, strengthening regulatory and compliance frameworks, promoting technological advancement and skills transfer, addressing environmental sustainability concerns, and expanding local sourcing opportunities.
Deliberations also highlighted the importance of deeper collaboration in areas such as hygiene, education, environmental management, gender and social welfare, as well as expanding opportunities for youth empowerment and community development.
Machakos County continues to champion business-friendly policies that stimulate trade, support industrial expansion, and unlock sustainable job creation—further reinforcing its reputation as the next frontier for investment.
